THIS IS NOT CULTURALLY SIGNIFICANT.

★★★★★ - INDEPENDENT "Deeply sad in parts, this performance is a 55 minute scream for help, and it sounds beautiful."

Out of Spite Theatre presents the critically acclaimed, two-time Edinburgh Fringe and London transfer sell-out, THIS IS NOT CULTURALLY SIGNIFICANT.

A brutally intense, darkly comic one-man show that unveils the bizarre, compulsive and eccentric nature of humanity. This thunderous, high energy piece of theatre is performed entirely nude and combines dark clowning and deeply grotesque bouffon to create a sharp political comment on contemporary society.

PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE

MIRO MAGAZINE - "There are no words to People Who Need People and yet, as a production, it is brimming with emotional promise."

Out of Spite Theatre in association with The Production Exchange and supported by Arts Council England, Shoreditch Town Hall and Jeremy Zimmermann Casting present PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE.

PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE is a 50 minute piece of theatre in which an audience watches the repeated routine comings and goings of people from varied historical time periods and walks of life at one limbo-esque train station. The piece is non-linear and occasionally highly physical.
A beautiful soundscape, intricate lighting, heightened physicality and juxtaposed imagery brings this slow-revealing piece to its fruition. There is no dialogue. PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE portrays a haunting, humorous and poignant display of the human condition. An intense slow-burner with a theatrical climax like no other.
